• Scissors
• Tape or glue sticks
• poster board
• A thick black marker
• space for the activity

How To Use Them

These coloring pages are so versatile, that they are perfect for preschool-aged children working on learning their alphabet. Each easter egg has a letter of the alphabet on them, so while your child colors and decorates their eggs, you can also spend some time talking about each letter they are working on, name the sounds of each letter, and even give an example word that begins with each letter.

Easter Egg Alphabet Hunt

Are you looking for a fun way to engage your preschooler in learning their letters while also allowing them to be active and move their body? This activity is perfect for homeschoolers, and it can even work in a small classroom! First, Have your child color and decorate each egg as they please! You can use markers, crayons, glitter glue, or even some water colors! Just be sure the child can still see the letters clearly once complete.

Next, cut out each egg and begin hiding the eggs around the room. Find a large piece of paper or even a poster board, and begin writing each letter of the alphabet on the poster board. Have your child go on an easter egg hunt! Once they find an egg, bring them over to the letter board and have them match their egg to the letter on the board. You can use tape, or even work on glue stick skills and encourage the child to adhere their egg to their matched letter.

Continue with your egg hunt until you’ve found and matched all of the letters!
